About the Activity
Embark on a magical journey of captivating storytelling, marvellous live music, and stupendous songs with the League of Curiosity’s ‘Campfire Tales’.
Join two of the League's finest travelling storytellers, Prof Jigget and Trebleton, around a warming campfire, to hear stories of magic, mayhem, and nonsense.
Each story is told with live music and original songs to take you on a sonic journey of imagination.
Imagine the scene: Within the picturesque Burrs Country Park, the air is filled with a sense of mystery and anticipation. As the sun sets and the stars begin to twinkle, families from all around gather around a crackling campfire, embracing the coziness and joy that only a campfire can bring.
'Oooh - Toasty!'
But that's not all!
Prepare to be captivated as Professor Jigget and Professor Trebelton from The League of Curiosity take centre stage and lead you to their campsite. With a storytelling prowess that has enthralled audiences for years, the professors will weave a tapestry of family folk tales and stories that span generations. Each musical tale is carefully chosen to evoke laughter, spark curiosity, and ignite the flames of imagination in both young and old.
'Can't beat a good ole fashioned campfire tale!'
And let's not forget the treats!
As you listen to these enchanting tales, you'll be sipping on a warm and comforting drink, perfect for the season. And what's a campfire without the quintessential delight of S'mores? Indulge in gooey marshmallows and rich chocolate sandwiched between biscuits – a culinary delight that perfectly complements the magic of storytelling.
